Swim Club Remodel Meeting, Movie Night, News from Shoreline

Swim Club Remodel Town Hall Meeting –
January 28, 7:15 pm at Innis Arden Clubhouse

Dear Swim Club Members and interested Innis Arden Residents:

Even though the pool is closed until May, there is activity going on that the volunteer Swim Club board wants you to know about – and – we need your help, so please read on.

The remodel project is moving along. We have various experts and consultants completing tasks that are necessary to prepare our permit application. However, we need your input on the all-important topic of financing. As you hopefully know, the Swim Club recently sent a survey to all residents of Innis Arden to explore ideas and options for paying for the remodel. We will go over the results of the survey at this meeting and discuss where we go from here.

This is a critical meeting for the remodel process. The Swim Club Board really wants to hear from you, so please attend!

Date: Thursday, January 28
Time: 7:15 pm
Place: Innis Arden Clubhouse

February 9, 4 p.m.
Fircrest Residential Habilitation Center
15230 15th NE, Shoreline, WA, 98155

This is a rare opportunity to tour the activities building at Fircrest.  Jeff Flesner, the new Superintendent, will show participants what is inside the building, including the basketball court, gym, stage, bleachers, meeting rooms, kitchen, banquet room, and the two swimming pools ( currently closed).  Jeff will also answer questions about how the facility can be used.  To get to the activities building, enter the main Fircrest gate off 15th Avenue NE (between NE 152st and 152nd Street).  Take a sharp left, and the building is on the right.  Meet in front of the building at 4 p.m.
